Toyota recognizes that solar electricity is going to play an essential role in our collective future. As a cleaner option compared to the fossil fuels that have powered the previous century, solar energy is indispensable for protecting the planet. To honor this progressive and sustainable source of power, Toyota has unveiled the Vivid Solar Sculptural Display, which is currently open to guests at its Research & Development center in Michigan.

 

The growing EV market is introducing customers to helpful innovations in charging gear and electric mobility. Toyota and Lexus are collaborating with Treehouse, a software-based platform for charger setups, to provide a more convenient experience for hybrid and electric vehicle customers.

 

EVgo Inc. has partnered with Toyota to launch new fast-charging stations in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, California. This effort is part of Toyota's "Empact" initiative, which focuses on expanding charging access in underserved communities. These stations are equipped with high-power 350kW chargers and are designed to be both convenient and affordable. Located near grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers, each station can charge up to eight vehicles simultaneously.
 

As electric vehicles (EVs) continue to become more popular, you may consider owning one yourself to avoid spending money on fuel. Fortunately, Consumer Reports performed a study that found it's more affordable to drive an electric vehicle compared to a gasoline-powered vehicle.

Almost a year ago, Toyota announced that they would be supplying used Camry Hybrid battery packs to Yellowstone National Park in order to help power the Lamar Buffalo Ranch campus. Fast forward a year later and now the zero emission energy system is officially up and running, bringing power to Buffalo Ranch for the first time in over 100 years and promoting sustainability.
