Toyota and Lexus Introduce Treehouse for EV Charger Setup
The growing EV market is introducing customers to helpful innovations in charging gear and electric mobility. Toyota and Lexus are collaborating with Treehouse, a software-based platform for charger setups, to provide a more convenient experience for hybrid and electric vehicle customers.

EVgo Inc. has partnered with Toyota to launch new fast-charging stations in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, California. This effort is part of Toyota's "Empact" initiative, which focuses on expanding charging access in underserved communities. These stations are equipped with high-power 350kW chargers and are designed to be both convenient and affordable. Located near grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers, each station can charge up to eight vehicles simultaneously.
This summer, Toyota announced its investment in the EV charging network IONNA to help build a high-powered charging infrastructure for battery electric vehicles across North America. Toyota joins six other automakers in backing IONNA, with the goal of making charging stations more accessible for EV owners.
