Under the hood, this all-new Toyota Corolla carries a turbocharged 1.6-L engine block that whips out a total of 300 net horsepower as defined by the SAE. Having only three cylinders, the turbo powerhouse unleashes 273 pound-feet of peak torque when revolving between 3,000 and 5,000 RPM as registered on the tachometer. Utilizing direct and port injection, this I-3 powerhouse operates consistently on every combustion cycle. A three-piece muffler controls the exhaust system on this athletic Toyota car. Brushed stainless steel tips add a sporty appearance to this all-new model. This 12-valve engine is more lightweight than most engines on the production-level market.

2023 Toyota GR Corolla Interior

Equipped with the GR4 All-Wheel Drive, the 2023 GR Corolla gets superb traction on dry or wet pavement at various speeds. You can manually select the power split in the drivetrain based on the real-time conditions. For example, the 30-70 setting diverts most of the available torque to a single axle. This mode optimizes handling on twisting and meandering roads. Designed and manufactured by Torsen, a limit-slip rear differential further optimizes the performance of this racing-inspired Toyota model. The optional Performance Package adds another differential to the front driveline for even better traction. This highly adaptive AWD system is mated to a manual transmission system for truly personalized handling on the road and track. The intelligent MT (i-MT) system includes the Rev Matching function for quick upshifts and downshifts.

Having a relatively low stance and center of gravity, this all-new Toyota hatchback experiences minimal aerodynamic drag at high speeds. A 103.9-inch wheelbase is another specification that contributes to the vehicle's sporty capabilities. Coming from the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 Series, 18-inch tires are installed on this all-new model. These premium tires are paired with 18-inch, cast-alloy wheels with 15 spokes and Gloss Black accents. Painted in red, four-piston aluminum calipers are integrated into the braking system. You'll also embrace the signature GR logo on the high-performance brakes. Additionally, this cool model has a black rear lip spoiler and stamped side rockers for truly distinctive aesthetics.
