What's New for the 2023 Toyota bZ4X?

The bZ4X is a sleek, high-performance four-seater that offers less trunk space but more engine power. While it does not come with a tow hitch kit as standard, there are multiple options for later adding this feature.

The bZ4X's interior features a new slimline steering wheel, allowing better visibility of the vehicle's center dash. The passenger seat can also fold flat, which provides additional storage space if needed.

The bZ4X is a departure from the standard bZT, as it comes with a new front-end design and 'Y' alloy rims. In addition, in 2023, Toyota has transitioned from traditional side mirrors to 'psycho' mirrors. These highly stylized versions of the conventional mirror reduce drag and wind noise with their sleek aerodynamic design. However, due to transitional legislation in some states, Toyota will continue passenger mirror production alongside the new bZ4X with a suitable price reduction on all models with side mirrors.

2023 Toyota bZ4X Trims & Features

One of the main draws for the bZ4X is its sleek new look, and it comes with a host of features designed to keep you comfortable and safe on the road. These include:

• Interior air filter - keeps debris from entering the cabin for a cleaner ride.
• Seat belt sensor - alerts the driver that seatbelts are not fastened.
• Driver knee protector - reduces the risk of injury during accidents.

The bZ4X will be available in three trims: Base, Plus, and Deluxe. Each trim comes with a unique set of features and configurations geared toward the most luxury-oriented consumer.

[deluxe] - alloy rims (white) w/ tow hitch, GPS system and Subwoofer

2023 Toyota bZ4X Horsepower

The standard offering on the 2023 bZ4X will be a front-wheel drive, single electric motor setup pushing out 201 horsepower. An all-wheel drive variant will also be available which pushes horsepower numbers up to 215. 

This is achieved by the power plant's new MT8' hyper' transmission. The engine also boasts Toyota's latest grill design which includes an open-top vent that allows for increased airflow into the engine compartment.

2023 Toyota bZ4X Safety

The bZ4X comes equipped with remote starting, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Standard safety features include an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake distribution (EBD). An in-dash display in the center dash is also standard equipment in all 2023 Toyota bZ4X models.
