What's New For the 2021 Toyota Prius?

More standard features and options are available for the 2021 Toyota Prius. This year, you can enjoy a new trim level called the 2020 Edition. Along with adding a new trim to the lineup, Toyota has equipped the Prius with more technology and safety features. While it has always been a competitive vehicle in the hybrid category, the Prius gets even more highlights this year to stand out from the rest, such as the 11.6-inch touchscreen display and Android Auto compatibility. While the Toyota Prius has traditionally excelled in fuel economy, it now offers more performance capabilities all around with the addition of all-wheel drive as an optional powertrain on select models.

2021 Prius Trims and Features

There are five trim levels available in the 2021 Toyota Prius series. The first trim is the L Eco. Although it's the entry-level model, there's not much missing from the L Eco for those seeking a pleasant and relaxing ride. The base model gets automatic headlights and 15-inch wheels. The interior, which seats five people, gets keyless entry on the driver's side and keyless ignition. There is a full suite of safety aids, and technology includes a seven-inch display with Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The LE adds a few more features inside and out, including a rear window wiper, parking sensors in front and back, and an Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Intelligent Parking Assist. The XLE gets larger 17-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, simulated leather upholstery, and wireless device charging. The new 2020 Edition trim has black interior and exterior accents and special trim-specific floor mats. The Limited trim, which is the top Prius trim, builds on that list with a larger 11.6-inch touchscreen display.
