Toyota has once again been named the top motor vehicle company in Fortune Magazine’s annual list of the “World’s Most Admired Companies.” The Japanese automaker ranked 28 overall out of all companies surveyed and landed in the top 10 in both running a global business and talent.

The prestigious distinction measures nine qualities considered essential to a company’s success. Those attributes include quality of management and leadership, quality of products or services, innovativeness, community responsibility, the wise use of corporate assets, a company’s effectiveness in running a global business, its value as a long-term investment, the soundness of its financial position and the ability to attract and keep talent.

“Toyota is honored to once again be recognized as a most admired company,” said Jim Lentz, Toyota Motor North America chief executive officer. “All of our team members and partners worldwide contribute to enhancing Toyota’s reputation by creating the future of mobility and contributing to a better society through safer, greener, and more fun driving experiences.”

The list is based on company surveys and peer ratings from senior executives, directors and analysts. Toyota snagged the top spot, with a first-place ranking across the board in the motor vehicles sector. This is not surprising as the automaker has been at the forefront of making reliable cars on a global scale, and for spearheading the modern hybrid era with the Prius.

In fact, if you’re looking for fantastic fuel efficiency, than the 2016 Prius is just what you need. With an EPA-estimated rating of 52 mpg combined, the new Prius gets the most out of every mile.
