Every September people from all throughout the Houston area attend the city's premiere fall festival, Oktoberfest Houston. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Oktoberfest beer festival in Germany, the signature event features a wide selection of local and German beer for guests to sample, along with a variety of excellent entertainment. Throughout the day-long affair, attendees will have the chance to not only taste fresh brews from across the world, but also enjoy country and polka tunes, indulge in tasty food and try their hand at a few games, including corn hole. As in years past, guests can also register to compete in the 4th Annual Oktoberfest Olympiad which is made up of a series of games, including the Barrel Roll, Brat Toss, Bucket Race and Stein Race.
