Toyota recently re-introduced their innovative C-HR Concept as a five-door model at this year's 2015 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. The visually appealing compact hybrid crossover, which originated as a design study, is now expected to go into production and could arrive on the market within the next couple of years.

To prep the C-HR Concept for the mass market, Toyota has begun to make modifications to the model that will likely appear on the production version. The crossover's original three-door design has been upgraded to include five doors and its two-tone roof is now one solid color. One thing Toyota has refrained from altering is the concept's eye-catching exterior styling. Inspired by a diamond, the expressive design features sculpted body panels reminiscent of a precision-cut diamond, bold lines and a striking front profile.

Based on the Toyota New Global Architecture, the C-HR Concept is set to feature excellent handling, a fuel-efficient hybrid system and first-class performance. Toyota hopes to debut a production-version model of the concept at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, so be on the lookout for its upcoming arrival.
