This year's Super Bowl was one for the books and even though it's all said and done, we wanted to take a moment to honor one of the best portions of every Super Bowl: the commercials! Throughout the years, Toyota alone has put together a few creative, hilarious and unforgettable ads for the big game that have received extensive praise from fans. We've put together a list of the best ones and ranked them by year, giving you a chance to enjoy each one once again!
Toyota Highlander: Starring Terry Crews & the Muppets (2014)
In this high-energy ad, former NFL player Terry Crews is taken on a wild adventure after he offers the Muppets a lift in his 2014 Toyota Highlander. With the famed puppets in charge, chaos ensues and the entire gang makes pit stops at a farm, bingo hall, vineyard and parade, while singing a catchy tune that even Crews can't resist!
Toyota RAV4: Starring Kaley Cuoco (2013)
Toyota's 2013 Super Bowl commercial stars "The Big Bang Theory's" Kaley Cuoco as the official RAV4 genie. In this funny spot, she must grant wishes for new owners of a RAV4, which include talking animals, becoming an astronaut, transforming into a princess and eating chocolate with no consequences. She even helps the dad get rid of his "spare tire."
Toyota Tundra: Space Shuttle Endeavour (2013)
Toyota decided to make a statement for their 2013 Super Bowl commercial by showing the 2013 Tundra towing the Space Shuttle Endeavour. The midsize pickup was able to pull all 292,000 pounds of the shuttle with no problems, proving it's a strong, capable vehicle.
Toyota Camry: Reinvented (2012)
For 2012, Toyota decided to promote the reinvented 2012 Toyota Camry by imagining what it would be like if other things in the world were reinvented. A reinvented police officer that give massages, ice cream at the DMV, rain that melts away fat and pizza curtains were just a few of the ideas Toyota came up with for this laugh-worthy commercial.
Toyota Corolla: Quiet Interior Badgers (2008)
To show off just how quiet their all-new Corolla was, Toyota created a hilarious 2008 Super Bowl ad, where a guy was locked inside a Corolla next to a family of sleeping badgers, while a cannon went off beside it. Luckily for him, the cannon did not awaken the dozing family; however, we can't say the same for his cellphone.
