Toyota has decided to celebrate the success of its two best-selling models: the Camry and Corolla, by releasing special edition versions of each car for a limited time only. Being touted as sport-themed models, the 2016 Camry Special Edition and Corolla Special Edition will feature more aggressive styling and several new technologies that will appeal to fans of both models. Their unique look and performance will make them a hit on the market and must-haves for car enthusiasts who admire the Toyota brand.
Based on the Camry SE, the all-new Camry Special Edition will come with many sport-inspired interior and exterior features. The car will be available in Blizzard Pearl and Blue Streak Metallic paint colors, and sport 18-inch alloy wheels, gloss black painted accents and a moonroof. Inside the model, there will be blue stitching on the dash, seats and shift boot, sport seats with SofTex bolsters and a sport meter cluster. Entune Audio Plus, push-button start and Qi Wireless Charging will also be available, while a 2.5L four-cylinder engine will provide top-notch power.
The 2016 Toyota Corolla Special Edition is based on the Corolla S model and will also come with its fair share of upgrades. 17-inch wheels will come standard on the model and buyers will be able to choose between three exterior colors: Super White, Black Sand Pearl and Absolutely Red. Special Edition floor mats, black interior with red contrast stitching, red accents and push-button start will also be included on the model. Additionally, Entune Premium Audio with Navigation and a power moonroof will be available options.
The Special Edition Camry and Corolla models are expected to go on sale in August and end production in December. Be on the lookout for the new versions to arrive at Joe Myers Toyota this summer.
