Toyota has officially become the first manufacturer to take advantage of NASCAR's new design guidelines, which allow brands to perform additional updates to their racecars to improve their overall appearance and performance on the track. The popular company created an all-new 2015 Camry model, which more closely resembles the incoming 2015 production Camry, and delivers greater performance than the 'Gen-6' NASCAR model. Scheduled to debut next season, the revised car will compete in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, beginning its initial introduction in February during 'Speedweeks.'

NASCAR's recent collaborations with manufacturers over the past three years is what made the new Camry possible. With their approval, Toyota was able to redesign the Camry to look more like the 2015 production version, outfitting it with a similar grille and front fascia that produces an aggressive appearance. On top of these improvements, the Camry racecar also sports an updated hood, backend and windows, enhancing its appeal and aesthetic.

A partnership between Toyota Racing Development and Calty Design is what brought the Camry racecar to life. If you'd like to view the production 2015 Toyota Camry to see how it matches up, visit Joe Myers Toyota to get an up-close look.
