2027 Toyota Crown Model Review - Houston, TX

What's New for the 2027 Toyota Crown?

For the 2027 model year, the Crown returns featuring a refreshed profile with a restyled rear bumper. The exterior paint selection expands with a brand-new shade called Inked. Inside, Limited and Platinum trims can now be ordered with a rich Saddle Tan upholstery color. Toyota also gives the top-tier Platinum trim a sportier stance with vivid red brake calipers and black window trim.

Although overall engine ratings remain identical, Toyota has refined the core hybrid setup. Furthermore, convenient paddle shifters are now standard on XLE, Nightshade, and Limited trims.

What Are the 2027 Crown Trims & Features?

Buyers can choose from four distinctive 2027 Crown trims: XLE, Nightshade, Limited, and Platinum.

The starting Crown XLE offers an exceptionally refined driving experience. Standard amenities include leather seating, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated and heated leather front seats, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

For those who favor darkened accents, the bold Nightshade Edition is sure to impress. It stands out with 21-inch matte-black wheels and gloss-black body elements. This trim also boasts an 11-speaker JBL premium audio system and a fixed panoramic glass roof with a power sunshade. The luxurious Limited trim serves as another upscale choice.

Resting at the top is the flagship Crown Platinum. Beyond offering the highest performance in the lineup, it adds Dynamic Rear Steering and Adaptive Variable Suspension for superior cornering stability. The Platinum also comes standard with an intuitive head-up display and Advanced Park.
