What's New For the 2021 Toyota Tundra?

For the 2021 model year, Toyota Tundra gets a few updates. There is a new shade available for the TRD Pro called Lunar Rock. Two new special edition trims join the lineup in 2021, giving you more options for the Tundra than before. This year, you can also choose to get the Tundra Trail Edition and the Nightshade Special Edition, which is a special trim that mostly has aesthetic differences, primarily a darker paint color and a blacked-out interior.

2021 Tundra Trims and Features

First, in the series for the 2021 Toyota Tundra is the SR, which is the base trim level. Inside and out, there are many features to enjoy on this trim level. Its standard equipment includes a seven-inch infotainment display screen that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The base trim level also comes with a six-speaker sound system. There are many safety features standard on the base trim, too, especially for an entry-level truck. Following the SR is the SR5, which gets some variations and modifications to its amenities. The SR5 upgrades to a slightly larger eight-inch infotainment display screen. It also has a tilt-telescopic steering wheel. Fog lights are included on this trim level. You can get several upgrades for the SR5, too, including front bucket seats and a larger fuel tank.

The Limited builds on what its predecessors offer with more luxury and amenities. The wheels are larger at 20 inches, and the grille has a polished appearance with silver chrome lining. Inside, you'll find comfortable leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and heated seats in the front. You can add on an off-road package as well. The Platinum adds navigation, a premium sound system, climate-controlled seats, and a blacked-out grille, while the TRD Pro has sporty enhancements for your off-road adventures.

2021 Toyota Tundra Horsepower

The same engine powers all Tundra trims, which is a 5.7L V8. This engine delivers 381 HP and 401 LB-FT in torque. Rear-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain, but you can choose four-wheel drive.
