Android Auto is now added as a standard interior amenity, making the Avalon more tech-savvy than it has ever been. All-wheel drive is also now offered as a drivetrain on select trim levels for exceptional performance and handling in all conditions. The 2021 Toyota Avalon Hybrid, a cousin of the Toyota Avalon, gets a new battery pack for improved efficiency and longevity. The Avalon Hybrid also adds Android Auto to its list of amenities in 2021.

Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

The first three trim levels of the Toyota Avalon and the Toyota Avalon hybrid overlap, while the Avalon adds on two additional trims after that. There is no shortage of technology at the base level for either model with a nine-inch touchscreen that now supports Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay. The base trim has an eight-speaker sound system as well.

The XSE has a blacked-out exterior with black trim accents and black wheels. It also has a sunroof and wireless charger in the hybrid model. The Limited trim follows with wood trim accents, adaptive headlights, navigation, and heated seats. Wireless charging is added in the regular Avalon.
