What's New For the 2020 Toyota Sienna?

For 2020, the Toyota Sienna SE and SE Premium can be purchased with the Nightshade Edition upgrade. The Nightshade Edition trims the exterior with black trim replacing the traditionally bright trim areas with the black. Otherwise, the Sienna remains the same.

2020 Sienna Trims and Features

The 2020 Sienna offers seven models from which consumers can choose. The L is the base Sienna model. From there the line progresses to the LE and the LE with Auto Access Seat. The SE is the next step up from the LE. The SE is followed by the XLE and the XLE with Auto Access Seat. The Limited is the top of the Sienna model chain. Starting with the L, consumers can expect a seven inch touchscreen display with the audio system. The LE models provide an Audio Plus system while SE, XLE and Limited models offer an available Premium Audio system with Dynamic Navigation. The LE and XLE models that offer the Auto Access Seat have a power-rotating lift up seat in the second row to allow easier access to the third row. The Sienna offers a wide dash to house the modern technology like the color-screen display. Triple-zone climate control adjusts automatically to maintain comfort levels for the driver, front passenger and rear passengers. The Limited offers leather seating and a dual moonroof that offers open and tilt features.

2020 Toyota Sienna Horsepower

The 3.5 liter, 24 valve V6 engine provides 296 horsepower at 6600 rpm. At 4700 rpm, this engine provides 263 lb-ft of torque. With All-wheel Drive with active torque control, the vehicle sends the appropriate amount of torque to the wheels providing added traction control. The direct-injection engine is paired with a Direct Shift 8-speed automatic transmission to provide the power needed to get from point A to point B.

Toyota Sienna Safety

Toyota Safety Sense P is included on all Sienna models. Safety Sense P is a suite of active safety features designed to help prevent accidents or protect passengers in the event of an accident. Lane Departure Alert with steering assist uses road markings to detect when the vehicle veers from its lane of travel. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control uses an in-vehicle camera and a front-grille-mounted radar to detect distance to preceding vehicles and maintain preset speeds. A Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian detection warns drivers of impending front-end collisions, and can apply brakes in the event the driver doesn't react to the alert. Automatic high beams are designed to detect headlights and tail lights of other vehicles to determine whether high or low beams are needed, and they automatically switch between the settings to provide appropriate lighting. The six safety features which combine to become the Star Safety System are designed to help provide traction and braking control. A Blind Spot Monitoring System and Rear Cross Traffic Alert warn drivers of vehicles approaching from the side or from the vehicle's blind spot.
