What's New for the 2018 Toyota Prius?

While there are minimal changes to the overall design of the new 2018 Toyota Prius, there are some new features to mention. There are new 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment systems that are available in the Four and Four Touring trims making them incredibly functional displays.

2018 Toyota Prius Trims and Their Features

The 2018 Toyota Prius comes in seven different trims.

   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius One comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, 15-inch alloy wheels with wheel covers, LED light including a low, and high beam with the auto-off feature, a backup camera and a smart key system with a push to start.
   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius Two comes equipped with all of the features of the One as well as two-tone wheel covers.
   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius Two Eco comes equipped with all of the features of the Two as well as a 4.2-inch color multi-information display and cruise control. 
   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius Three comes equipped with includes all of the features of the Two Eco as well as the smart key system on three doors, remote illuminated entry, Entune Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite and wireless smartphone charging.
   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius Three Touring comes equipped with all of the features of the Three as well as 17-inch alloy wheels, Softex trimmed seats with contrasting stitching and integrated fog lights with LED lights.
   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius Four comes equipped with all of the features of the Three Touring as well as 11.6 inch HD multimedia display, blind spot monitors and rear cross traffic alert, intelligent clearance sonar with parking assist, Softex heated front seats and a head-up display.
   
• The 2018 Toyota Prius Four Touring comes equipped with all of the features of the Four as well as rain-sensing variable intermittent windshield wipers.

Power and Economy

All of the 2018 Toyota Prius trims net 121 horsepower from its hybrid system. Trims One, Two, Three, Three Touring, Four, and Four Touring have an average of 50 mpg in the city and 54 mpg on the highway. The 2018 Toyota Prius Two Eco has an average of 53 mpg in the city and 58 mpg on the highway.
