About the Toyota Tundra in Houston
The 2016 Toyota Tundra is once again available in six trims this year: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition and TRD Pro. In addition to this, drivers have their choice between a regular, double or CrewMax cab to fit their individual needs. For 2016, upper trim levels now come with a larger gas tank, as well as a standard trailer brake controller on models with the 5.7L V8 engine and upgraded Entune multimedia systems. The 1794 Edition and SR5 also feature new front end styling that enhance their overall look. Standard on lower trims, a 4.6L i-Force V8, generating 310 horsepower and 327 lb.-ft. of torque, lies beneath the hood of the 2016 Toyota Tundra in Houston. It comes matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, which is also paired with the 5.7L i-Force V8 engine found on upper trims. The stronger V8 displacement delivers 381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. of torque, and comes with a standard tow package that supports the Tundra's 10,500-pound towing capacity.
The previously available TRD Off-Road Package is now offered on the 1794 Edition Tundra model. The package features black headlight bezels, Michelin Off-Road Package tires, 18-inch TRD black alloy wheels, TRD Pro bed panel stamping, an aluminum skid plate, a TOYOTA grille and matte black badges. Aside from this update on the 2016 Toyota Tundra in Houston, the Limited, Platinum TRD Pro and 1794 Edition each receive a 38-gallon fuel tank - the largest fuel tank offered in the full-size truck segment.
