Quality Toyota Prius Research From Joe Myers Toyota
Toyota has completely redesigned the Prius for the 2016 model year. Donning a sleek design inspired by a runner in the starting blocks, the 2016 Toyota Prius sports a lower hood, sleek body and crisp character lines. To complement its new look, a brand-new exterior color has also joined the color palette and new LED headlamps have arrived as standard features. The model also comes with a reengineered displacement, multiple interior enhancements and Toyota's new safety suite, Safety Sense, which you can discover further details about in our 2016 Toyota Prius review below.
For the new model year, the 2016 Toyota Prius in Houston is outfitted with a 1.8L VVT-I engine. This is the same displacement offered on the previous model; however, it has been reengineered and is now more efficient than ever before. Both Prius v and Prius Plug-in models also receive a 1.8L four-cylinder engine, while the smaller Prius c sports a 1.5 four-cylinder. With the ability to produce an EPA-estimated 50 mpg combined, the displacement found in the Prius c happens to be the most fuel efficient out of the bunch.
Aside from the all-new exterior design, the interior of the 2016 Toyota Prius in Houston has also been redesigned. The new cabin features a Smart-flow air conditioning system, a new wrap-around dash, a color head-up display and form-hugging seats that provide first-class comfort during long commutes. Additionally, the Prius is one of the first models in Toyota's lineup to receive their new Safety Sense system that comes with dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beams, lane departure alert with steering wheel assist and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. This new suite helps keep all occupants safe while riding in the vehicle at all times.
