In an effort to improve the in-car experience for all occupants, Toyota has upgraded all Entune audio systems featured on the 2016 Toyota 4Runner in Houston. The Entune Audio Plus model, found on SR5 and Trail trims, now comes with Connected Navigation (Scout GPS Link), which uses a driver's smartphone to provide navigation functionality in the vehicle. The SR5 and Trail Premium models come with Integrated Navigation paired with Entune Premium Audio, while the Limited gets Entune Premium JBL Audio with Integrated Navigation as well. In addition to these audio system upgrades, the off-road ready TRD Pro Series Edition features a new paint color: Quicksand.
Delivering 270 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque, a 4.0L V6 engine is outfitted on the 2016 Toyota 4Runner in Houston. Available on rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive models, the displacement comes standard with a five-speed automatic transmission. When outfitted on a four-wheel drive 4Runner Trail, the engine provides enough power to help the SUV jet from zero to 60 mph in 7.8 seconds. It also supports the 4Runner's off-road capabilities, which are among its biggest advantages.
