This September, there's only one place where you can wear lederhosen or dirndl without getting side-eye. If you've been dying to pull out your German garb, now's the time because Oktoberfest Houston is just around the corner.

On Sept. 24, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., bier will flow and entertainment will be plentiful at The Water Works on Sabine Street. Last year, there was a wide range of craft brews like Cycler's Dom’e’stique Wit and Cycler's Bonked Pumpkin, as well as imported options such as Kronenbourg Blanc, Leibinger Seeweisse and Hofbrau Marzen. Options are expected to be just as incredible this year, making Oktoberfest Houston a can’t-miss event for bier connoisseurs.

In addition, there will be German folk dancers, live polka music and other performances from several acts. Numerous activities are on the schedule too, including games at the fun zone and 5th annual Oktoberfest Olympiad, which includes a barrel roll and brat toss challenge along with other contests.

Food is always a highlight of Oktoberfest Houston as well and this year is no different. Vendors like Deutscher Fleischwagen, Yummy Dog and others will be onsite offering delicious food to complement your beer selections.

If you would like to attend Oktoberfest Houston 2016, you can purchase tickets online for $25. At the door prices are $30. VIP tickets are also available and include preferred seating and toilets as well as complimentary food and beverages.
