One of the hallmarks of the holiday season is Christmas lights! They bring an air of magic to the city like no other and instantly inspire a feeling of joy and awe.
For the seventh year in a row, the Wave is hosting its Holiday Lights Tours, which give locals a chance to see some of the best Christmas lights in Houston. On each tour, guests are taken on a journey through City Hall, Discovery Green, Field of Lights and other locations, where they’re exposed to light displays that dazzle the senses. At each spot, you can get off of the bus and take photos – including awesome selfies.
HOURS
Tours begin at Market Square Park and groups gather at 6-6:15 p.m. Each tour lasts three hours, starting at approximately 6:30 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m.
PRICES
It’s only $30-40 to join and $5 from every ticket is donated to the Buffalo Bayou Partnership. In addition, if you have a child who’s 4 or under, and you don’t mind holding them on your lap, they can join for free.
DATES
Wave Holiday Lights Tours take place Dec. 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 – that’s weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through the middle of the month.
