If you’re looking for an outstanding SUV that offers plenty of options, then you’ll definitely want to consider the 2017 Toyota 4Runner. This year, the 4Runner gets two brand-new models added to the lineup, which includes TRD Off-Road and TRD Off-Road Premium. Each grade offers one-of-a-kind TRD (Toyota Racing Development) branding to help elevate your off-roading ventures.
“4Runner owners often take their SUVs off the beaten path, so these new TRD Off-Road grades will be a popular recognition of TRD’s history in the off-road arena,” said John Myers, National Manager, trucks and SUVs, Toyota.
Available in six trims, SR5, SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, Limited and TRD Pro, the 2017 4Runner is just what you need to make the most of your drives. The new TRD Off-Road 4Runner gets black painted wheels and a one-of-a-kind TRD Off-Road badge on the C-pillar.
Inside, there’s a TRD Shift Knob and floor mats that feature the TRD Off-Road designation. In addition, the TRD Off-Road Premium gets “TRD” red lettering on the front passenger and driver headrests.
Since making its debut back in the early '80s, the Toyota 4Runner has long been a favorite amongst off-roaders and city drivers alike. Today, the 4Runner continues its legacy as being a top choice for drivers who expect big things from an SUV. No matter the trim, you can count on the 4Runner to take your outdoor adventures to new heights. Even the base SR5 comes standard with off-road features like mud guards and skid plates, while top-of-the-line models get advanced electronic aids for more precise off-roading.
A rugged and stylish SUV, the 2017 Toyota 4Runner stays true to its roots. We expect it to arrive at Joe Myers Toyota sometime this fall. In the meantime, check out our huge online inventory of 2016 Toyota 4Runner models. When you’re done, stop by and take one for a test drive!
